Chris first sought elected office as a school trustee in 2014, entered the Winnipeg mayoral race in 2018, and ran for Mayor in 2022. In 2023, they ran as an independent candidate in the Winnipeg South Centre federal by-election. Now running for Mayor of Winnipeg in 2026.
